Our Shipping Boundaries

American Native Plants ships trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants throughout the continental United States, with a primary focus on serving the Eastern U.S. and Midwest. Our plant material is native to these regions and is best suited to the climates and growing conditions found here; species that thrive in the East and Midwest may not perform as well in hotter, more arid western environments. In addition to our Maryland nursery, our Woodstock, Illinois fulfillment center allows us to efficiently serve customers across the Midwest, providing improved logistics, reduced transit times, and reliable access to high‑quality native plant material for regional projects.

With fulfillment centers in Middle River, Maryland and Woodstock, Illinois, we are equipped to handle orders of all sizes and efficiently serve customers throughout the region.

How to Order

If you are interested in placing an order, visit our Quote Cart to get an estimate and peek at what is in stock. We respond to all quote requests within 24 hours or less. Depending on the quantity of plants you need, we can provide a discount and competitive pricing to meet your needs.

Due to the high volume of phone calls, please email your orders. We try to acknowledge orders within 24 hours. Payments and deposits (if required) can be made with check or credit card. Credit card payments are charged an additional 4% processing fee. We offer net 30 to established customers with approved credit applications.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept cash as payment for deliveries to ensure driver safety.

The Shipping Process

You or your agent may pick up your plants on an appointment basis. Smaller orders may ship by FedEx, UPS, or common carrier. Orders over 70 lbs. can often be palletized and shipped with one of our preferred common carriers. Larger orders can be shipped directly to your facility or jobsite. We make every attempt to combine loads going to customers along our standard routes in an effort to be cost effective for all.
